It's perhaps surprising to some (although not so to many others) that the social unrest and protests of 2011 have continued to emerge in many cities across Europe. This Sunday 15th May was yet another example of people spontaneously coming onto the streets to demonstrate, this time in Madrid and Barcelona and approx 50 other cities across Spain - showing the only voice that seems to get heard - the basic way, the most organic and the most tangible to reflect peoples discontent! People are fucked off and this time its different....we know 'main stream politics' simply will not (perhaps cannot) do anything to stem the acceleration of rampant corrupt capitalism and the financial deficit it causes. There is, at least, a way - this is people power and its only a reflection of whats going on under the surface of our society. All over Europe, all over the world people are loosing complete faith in the 'system' (those that still had it!) and change is desired - but there appears no clear path to accomplish it. Its time to think laterally.. me thinks....
